Would Cialis Be Better For Seniors Than Viagra?

Roughly 15 years ago, Viagra debuted amidst great fanfare. It was the first prescription medication delivering the ability to help men overcome erectile dysfunction. Through a series of ads featuring former Sen. Bob Dole, Viagra clearly targeted seniors in its advertising campaign. The ads were wildly successful. For many years, Viagra was the preferred prescription of many seniors since it was the only ED prescription on the market. Then, along came Cialis and a new drug was offered. But, is Cialis better for seniors than Viagra? While Viagra is an effective prescription, it has certain limitations. This is why many men are learning towards Cialis as their ED drug of choice.

Clearly, one of the main benefits that Cialis offers over Viagra is the fact that Cialis will last in the system much longer. Usually, it will last upwards of 18 hours which is over four times the length of Viagra.

Cialis also starts to work almost immediately once it enters the system. Usually, Cialis will be fully absorbed and effective within 15 minutes at the most. Viagra has been known to take upwards of 2 hours and, at a minimum, a half an hour.

Cialis may also prove helpful for those seniors that did not experience positive results from using Viagra. Different people will react differently to the same medication. This is true of mostly all prescriptions. Erectile dysfunction medication is not excluded from this list. As such, any senior that found Viagra ineffective may consider Cialis the better ED drug by sheer default.

In many ways, Cialis seems to be the better prescription erectile dysfunction treatment for seniors. This is not to say that Viagra is a poor or ineffective drug as much as it is to say Cialis has improved greatly on what Viagra previously offered. So, most seniors would probably benefit better from using the little orange pill as opposed to the blue one.
